「THE NIKKA WHISKY TOKYO」 in Omotesando, where the world's top bartenders gather. There are two bar areas, “The Lounge -MEET-” and “The Bar -EXPLORE-”.
Guests shift to taste the world's most advanced cocktails
Nikka Whisky, which celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, has introduced the culture of Japanese bartending to the world and has long been a world partner of “The World's 50 Best Bars,” the world's top bar awards, contributing to the excitement of the global bar scene and bar culture.
This autumn, Nikka Whisky is hosting a special program for Japanese bar fans at its flagship bar, THE NIKKA WHISKY TOKYO, which will be open until this December.
Special guest shifts will bridge the gap between bars in Japan and overseas!
In September, Stanislav Vadrna, Nikka Whisky's Global Hospitality Ambassador, appeared as the first appearance, followed by Takuma Watanabe of Martiny's (NY), ranked No. 24 on “The World's 50 Best Bars 2024.

This event, where you can experience world-class cocktails, will be followed by a series of special guests!

Julia Momosé was born and raised in Japan, spent her school years in the U.S., was fascinated by bartending, and is now active in Chicago.
Julia's profile and bartending philosophy have already been introduced in our web,(archived article)and she offers an 'omakase' style cocktail menu in a space richly decorated with traditional Japanese Kumiko craftsmanship.
Julia's cocktails are highly acclaimed for their creative recipes that incorporate Japanese flavors, and we would love to try them!
Performing on November 15 and the 16th will be Patrick Pistolesi (right), head of the very famous Drink Kong in Rome! Enjoy the conceptual cocktails.

Patrick Pistolesi, owner and bartender of “Drink Kong,” a leader in the cocktail scene in Rome, will appear!
Patrick, who is of Irish-Italian descent, started his career as a bartender in his mother's hometown of Ireland, where he experienced the pub scene.
After working at Jerry Thomas Speakeasy in Rome, he opened his own bar, Drink Kong, in 2018.
His unique style and creative approach to cocktails, incorporating Japanese culture and science fiction (SF), has earned him worldwide acclaim.
He is also a regular on “The World's 50 Best Bars” list and was ranked No. 33 this year.
He is sure to show us whisky cocktails that have never been seen before, using his advanced skills and expressiveness!
On November 20, Nico de Soto of “Danico/Mace” shifted in from Paris! This is “Danico” with a BOHO mood. The World's 50 Best Bars 2024” has selected it as No.49.
【November session 3 : from Paris “Danico” 】 Nico de Soto, who has been attracting great attention at ‘MACE’ in New York, is coming to Japan!

“MACE” is a new star that appeared in New York in 2015. “Mace” means spice, and its novel appearance like an herbal medicine shop was a topic of conversation at the time when it was ranked in ‘The World's 50 Best Bars 2015’ after only 3 months of its opening.

The head bartender is Nico, who is said to be “the most influential bartender in Paris.
Born and raised in Paris, Nico began his bartending career in Australia.
He has traveled to 104 countries and worked in top bars in Paris, London, and New York.
He is currently developing an exotic cocktail menu called “Danico Xplorer” at Danico/Mace, which seeks inspiration from his travels.
What kind of fusion of his travel experiences and the latest cocktail trends will he bring to the table?

The location for this guest shift is 「THE NIKKA WHISKY TOKYO, a pop-up flagship bar that opened this August in Omotesando, Tokyo.
「THE NIKKA WHISKY TOKYO」
Consisting of two bar areas, “The Lounge -MEET-” and “The Bar -EXPLORE-”, it was opened with the expectation of “conveying the depth of whisky to a wider audience”, with cocktails as the main attraction.
In Japan, whisky is usually enjoyed on the rocks, with water, or in a highball, but want people to enjoy it in a variety of ways, so Nikka Whisky is offering original cocktails created in collaboration with top bars in Japan.
The guest shifts are standing style, and no reservations are required for any of the dates, so anyone is welcome to drop by.
This is a rare chance to experience cocktails that can only be tasted by visiting the site! Don't miss this opportunity.
